It is now possible to combine multiple keywords to do a search. The separation of concern is better now since the search extraction is not done in the DAO anymore.
At the moment, a multiple keyword search is stored as this. It could be nice to have it rendered differently in the search page to make it more readable.
At the moment, there is a problem with search enclosed by ". Same search works well when enclosed by '.
Before, for shares that don't need options, only a button to remove it was visible. It was source of confusion for users.
I changed the look of those shares by using the same layout as others (minus the help). As there is no configuration possible for the url, the field is disabled but it is possible to change the name of the share.
See #787
There were multiple calls made to the cleaning method that were unnecessary since it is useful only on the last call.
It allows to simplify code by returning values ealier.
I figured that the code for the search could be extracted from the context to have separation of concern.
It supports multiple keywords. It suports also multiple tag keywords.
This feature is not in use at the moment, but it will be handy to reorganize the query building process. It allows to have more than one keyword in the search box.
Full tests are available as well.
It probably needs a refactoring later, but I think this is the first step to make the application full object oriented and testable.
Temporary fix:
- Change syslog by Minz_Log::notice in most of the files
- Logs are stored in USERS_PATH/_/log.txt for actualize_script.php
- Simply comment syslog in SimplePie
See https://github.com/FreshRSS/FreshRSS/issues/711
- Add a support($key) method which return if the given key is supported by
the setter.
- Change handle signature by adding a $data param which must be passed by
reference.
See https://github.com/FreshRSS/FreshRSS/issues/730
- FreshRSS_Share is the only object we manipulate
- Add a way to register new share options easily
- Move some i18n keys from index.php to gen.php
See https://github.com/FreshRSS/FreshRSS/issues/730
- We have still to fix actualize_script and greader api (refactoring?)
- We have to fix the FreshRSS_Configuration calls
- We have to fix availableLanguages calls
See https://github.com/FreshRSS/FreshRSS/issues/730
General attribute has been removed from system config.
Now subattributes (e.g. environment, salt, title, etc.) are directly accessible.
YOU HAVE TO FIX YOUR ./data/config.php file!
- Remove the general array
- Values inside this array must be kept
- To see what it must look like, please have a look to ./data/config.default.php
(but keep your values!!).
See https://github.com/FreshRSS/FreshRSS/issues/730
- FreshRSS_Context::$conf is replaced by FreshRSS_Context::$user_conf
- Introduce FreshRSS_Context::$system_conf
- Remove FreshRSS_Configuration object
See https://github.com/FreshRSS/FreshRSS/issues/730
- Use only Minz_Configuration
- register() method to load a new configuration file
- get() to get a configuration
- new exceptions related to configuration
- fix a list configuration calls to have FRSS working
Current problems to resolve:
- How to handle configuration param verifications (i.e. check auth_type
is a value from none, http_auth, persona or form)
- We must use $conf = Minz_Configuration::get('system'); $general_conf = $conf->general;
to access global system configuration which is quite annoying. How to change that?
See https://github.com/FreshRSS/FreshRSS/issues/730
- Create ./data/users/ folder
- Move user configuration to ./data/users/username/config.php
- Move sqlite db to ./data/users/username/db.sqlite
- Move user logs to ./data/users/username/log.txt
See https://github.com/FreshRSS/FreshRSS/issues/729
Before, when the article while marked as read while scrolling and auto removed after reading, the display was in the middle of the following article.
Now, the article is forced to be a sticky article so the user display is forced to be on top of the following article.
This is a new reading option to hide articles when they are read. The hidding process occurs when the article is left for an other article. This way, even when the article is marked as read on opening, it is hidden only while navigating to an other article.
I'm not really happy with the behavior when the "mark while scrolling" option is enabled. Please review.
It is missing the i18n since we're not supposed to push them before it exists on i18n.freshrss.org. Or maybe I misunderstood the process.
See #476
Before the cache system was not used for feeds with errors, which was
problematic especially if several users have this feed.
Furthermore, there was no protection against repetitive refresh.
Bonus: slightly better performance by avoiding some superfluous
file_exists().
Warning: needs a bit of testing
